The group employs approximately 900 people and has an extensive footprint throughout South Africa and neighbouring countries, with logistics capability extending to Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Namibia, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

OneLogix has delivered consistent growth and as recently as 2010 was ranked as the JSE AltX’s top performer, with the share price increase of 166% over the year having outstripped the JSE All Share (up by 16,1%) and the AltX (up by 8,6% ) indices.

A decentralised management structure means each company is run by entrepreneurial management with a wealth of experience and thorough knowledge of their industry. This is supported by a strong efficient, central corporate head office team.

A solid BEE platform entrenches the group’s competitive advantage. Onelogix is 25,1% black-owned and also qualifies as a 20,4% black woman-owned company. A Staff Trust comprising black employees holds a 5% stake in the group’s wholly-owned management company OneLogix (Pty) Limited, while Sipho Pityana’s broad-based BEE consortium Izingwe Capital (Pty) Limited holds the balance. The group’s BEE ownership philosophy both rewards staff excellence and loyalty and facilitates partnership with strong allies to achieve growth.

“We focus on excellence. Distinct customer service is non-negotiable, and a pro-active approach to continuous improvement ensures we deliver. We care about what we do and how we do it. Good faith, straight dealing and professional conduct define the group.” CEO Ian Lourens
